Fabulous and AMAZING video
My mom sent me this link. The site isn't youtube so I can't get the video on here directly but it is SO worth a look.
In response to the crochet hook/bead question - size 13 or 14 hook is small enough to get through size 8 beads - if you can't find one - check out your neighborhood hairdresser. The small tool used to pull hair through the holes of the cap worn during highlighting also works. I actually prefer the latter. It's shorter and easier to handle.
