How funny is this?
So, my Mom is up from Miami visiting for the week. We took her to DC this past weekend. If you all remember, my visit to DC last year to see the Cherry Blossom wasn't a complete bust, but most of the blooms had been blown off the night before by a huge storm. This year, we were there for the first weekend of the Cherry Blossom Festival and it did not dissapoint. Post and pictures on that later but I had to share this with you right away.

I was sorry to miss you while you were here, J! I am happy to see that it was a fun trip though :)
i love it! can't wait to see the cherry blossoms, ours are trying but this recent cold spell of 30 degree weather and wind has stunted them a bit.
