Just a place where I can sit and write my thoughts on my newest passion. . . . . knitting. Hopefully, I will better document my progress throughout knitting and get in touch with others as obsessed as I am!

A finished object!!
Flap top mittens made from Elsebeth Lavold angora (burgundy) and Weaver's wool from mountain colors (pine needle colorway).
These are my FIRST MITTENS!! I like the mittens but, the angora is a bit bulky on the flap opening. I also do not like the tip. The original tip was too squared off and this tip is too pointy. I am going to frog the tip and do a sock toe end to see if that has a better shape to it.
Not too bad though, don't ya think?

Very nice! Are they for the knitter?
I just bought some yarn to make the girls matching hats and mittens. They might get to wear them once or twice this winter. :)
Those look like they'll be super cozy! I think the tips are cute!
They are gorgeous...love the colors. From the picture the ends don't look too pointy.
As for the socks on my blog - Simple Stripes from Knit Picks. ;)

i must be a little loopy...i initially spelt nice "k-n-i-c-e". oy.
I think they turned out very nice! Love the color.
