Have you ever heard of "shortman's syndrome"? Short surgeons who have a big attitude problem because they must compensate for being small.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04769717399951980294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8930377.post-65325937440793262032007-02-08T17:38:00.000-05:002007-02-08T17:38:00.000-05:00I am very lucky. I've been in the hospital for 15 surgeries and many other tests etc...yea too much for my young age...AND I hear you...I've got more common sence and insite then some of those egotesticle A$$'s. And as patients we know where most of it comes from.
My daughter is hoping to hear that she's chosen for the nursing program..She has a 98.6 on her HESSE? and carries a 3.85, But here in Mich. we have limited attendances in the programs. Her daughter was born with neuroblastoma and is a survivor of stage 4 metastic (primary tumor grapefruit size on renal at birth) at day 3 they did emergency surgery blindly, metastisized to both lobes of liver and colon..micoscopic traces in her marrow. Fought 3 rounds of RSV, staff and NUMEROUS other battles before age of 2mo. That's the summary of a long story, so when the little angel went to school my daughter switched her studies from pharmaceutical(SP?) to nursing.
I just so pray she doesn't run into to too many of those that will discourage her.
So you vent whenever you need...and we will listen and understand.
Put your feet up and relax...KnittySuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06325406928677338685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8930377.post-48310246467020611092007-02-02T20:23:00.000-05:002007-02-02T20:23:00.000-05:00vent away, it sounds like you did a great job..wha...vent away, it sounds like you did a great job..what a jerk that dr was.StarKnitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12208631697844102759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8930377.post-84906830725229099042007-02-02T12:02:00.000-05:002007-02-02T12:02:00.000-05:00Oh, dear!! In my experience, I've only found a handful of surgeons that I've been able to develop a good working relationship with. Sounds like you handled yourself very well in a crappy situation. Strong work! :)Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10514447751353186555noreply@blogger.com
